The Friends of the Neva Lomason Memorial Library is a group of individuals dedicated to supporting our local library. Our volunteers are the engine that keeps the Barker Book House running, allowing us to turn donated books into vital library funding. If you are responsible, friendly, and—most importantly—love books, we would love to have you join our team.

Barker Book House Operations: Helping with receiving, sorting, and shelving donated books. Customer Service: Assisting visitors at the Book House and recording transactions. Special Events: Helping with our semi-annual Brown Bag Sales or our popular fall pecan sales. Board/Administrative: Assisting with the ongoing management of the Friends organization.

The Barker Book House is open during the following hours. Please indicate when you are generally available to serve:(required)

Monday – Friday (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Saturday (12:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
